Can someone Explain to me why All of my Research on African-American People immediately Generates a Relation through my Caucasian Mother (@Doris Patton)
Nothing has Generated through my Father's (@John Patton, Jr.) Family! Is it an Algorithm thing or am I Not Researching Correctly? Your Thoughts, Please!!
Thank You!

Have you got enough of your father's ancestors on Geni? If they're not there, they can't be found. (Also the relationship calculator is wonky and always has been.)

Thank you for your response, Maven Helms! My Dad's Sister's Husband (my Uncle), has extended family doing a Great job on his family tree (@Fred Ogleton)!
My Father was an Accomplished Singer, Actor (the movie, "The Color Purple" and other smaller roles on television. I do Not have a lot of information on my other Uncles nor my Father's Grandparents. My Uncle Fred Ogleton's family is Full of information.
Another issue is trying to Add my Sister-in-law (@Gabrielle Patton) and her Extended family and Ancestors. I found Many on MyHeritage. Granted , I am New to the Geneaology hunt and I am doing this on my Android Phone. (I don't have a Computer).
Thank you very much for yourinput. And yes, the Relationship generator on Geni is"funny" at best. I believe it has difficulty with such Life Experiences as Adoptions, Inter-Cultural Marriages and Unmarried Couples having Children. Hopefully, I can get some of these issues resolved.
Thank you and have Great Weekend!

Simone Patton

The relationship calculator doesn't even like cousins marrying cousins. That can really throw it for a loop.
