Genealogists have tried to fit three marriages of Hannah Lincoln’s of Taunton into two fathers and it doesn’t work, so we’ve separated from one back into three.

I’ve left with a head scratcher for Hannah Staples - any advice?

Shes Not the same as Hannah Branch or of Hannah Owen Probably not the child of Thomas Lincoln, II or of Samuel Lincoln

I don’t see any other Lincoln’s she’s been attributed to. She married as a Lincoln or Lillikin in 1692 at Taunton MA - could be a widow, but she’s not one of the other two.

This is interesting - https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000180503593958 - I think he didn’t have access to the Owen / Lincoln Marriage record, which is very clear, so that may have led his thinking astray.

The Staples branch is the most obscure, because Rhode Island. It also occurs to me that the Hannah marrying there may not have been local, her name is garbled, and the Taunton records burned.

So it could be as simple as she was a Lillikin!
