@Sharon "Shaz" Duthy I am the great great grand-daughter of Sarah and I have been searching for many years for her burial. I am intrigued by your attribution of the grave at WTC for Sarah and would love to know how you know it to be hers. "January 17, 1871, Age 55, Burial of Sarah Rains
West Terrace Cemetery, Road 4, Path 4, Aspect: E, Site Number: 39, South Australia."
When I searched the records, I did find a burial for a Sarah 'Perkins' at that location on Find a Grave but it claimed the burial was 1878, not 1871 which would add credence to the idea that this is not my Sarah's grave., Also the SA Genealogical Society database shows: Surname: PERKINS, First Names: Sarah, Death Date: 16-Jan-1878, Age: 75
Gender: F, Marital Status: M, Place of Death: Adelaide, Residence: Adelaide, Relative: Not Recorded
District: Adelaide, Book/Page: 84/448, Notes: Symbol=S.
I think this is a different person. Sarah Rains death certificate states her residence was Dry Creek, death occurred at Dry Creek.
I am open to any help you can give me on this matter.
