I also have his PoD as Green River, Columbia, New York.

There is a Green River in NY near Austerlitz, NY, but I can't find a town by that name.
But this note on Wikipedia is interesting:
Hillsdale (town), New York (redirect from Green River, New York)
So perhaps Wikipedia knows something that isn't mentioned on the Hillsdale page.
On the other hand, the Green River continues quite a ways into MA , but again, that puts him quite a ways from Austerlitz where he appears to be buried.
One interesting consideration is that there appears to have been some debate about the border between NY and MA around that time, but I can't see how Green River would be in MA while Austerlitz was in NY.
So I think the note on FindAGrave that he was in Green River MA surely must be a mistake. But it is hard for me to imagine how they would make such.
