do you know that the date of death July 22.1876 of @Nicoline Serine Hansdatter Tande is the same date as her brother-in-law Christian Johnson Sande (my 2X great-grandfather) and his daughter Ingrid on the same day too. We understand it was food poisoning. So I don't understand her death being from trichinae--which takes place over time, not immediate. Do we have a death certificate for her? I have NOT got one for Christian and Ingrid but am still trying to find, guess I must contact city of Benson, Swift County.
I also have a copy from digitalarkivet of Christofer and Nicoline emigrating with 4 children, a girl named Randi b. 1870 in Norway. She is not on the 1875 census on May 1st. Mary is listed as 3 years old then, and not born in 1871 but in 1872, which is also on her memorial on findagrave.com. Mary's father christopher Romfo is on there to, and died in North Dakota like she did.

Oh that 1875 Census four of C & N Romfo's children are listed exactly before Christian and H.M. Sande, and C and N and Anna, the oldest child are not listed there, so my Sande family maybe was babysitting that day when the count happened !
