This profile appears to be the same as Anna Van Biljon . The pending merge also suggests that it should be so. Geertruy's forename was originally Anna, and has been changed a few times (see edit history) so that it now is completely different from what the primary sources show.

I think there is a possibly a muddle here.
The name ANNA VAN BILJON appears on the marriage record here:

and on the baptism of daughter Aletta Catharina Zayman here:

How did Bartholomeus's wife's name become Geertruyd??

Was there an incorrect merge at some stage?

It would be nice to get this sorted out if possible,

Further note:
Maria Walters did not have a daughter called Geertruyd. Three children are listed on her Inventory:
Drie kinderen met naemen Johanna, Ernst Hendriks en Regina Baldrina Biljon
OI think it is likely that Johanna = Anna (as her name appears on marriage record and baptism record of her duaghter Aletta Catharina Zaaiman/Saayman)

Please could we change the first name to ANNA?
I can find no evidence of "Geertruyd" at all.

I have been working from the outlying profiles towards this one -- that is the safest way to ascertain full and complete correctness about a questionable profile. Once I have covered all the others, and the information still matches with what we think we know, I will do the actual profile of Anna/Geertruyd. So don't worry, I am working on it. Slowly but surely.
