When I tried to merge these two Helga Asplund - https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000000441327474
I thought a request about the merge would be sent to the administrator. That did not happen! Instead the merge wiped away the picture of Helga and the date of death mentioned in the left profile (I hope you can see if you open the above link).
There's more to this! Because the profile admin is "signed" as "Helga Asplund", but, if that is the same as the wife of Arthur Asplund something is wrong, because that wife Helga Asplund died already 1968 (or I had also a note about that she died already 1960). However - the wife of this Arthur Asplund is identical to Private born 1902.07.10 in Mariehamn, Åland Islands.
Can the picture of Helga Asplund be found again or is it lost in the merge? Can the three profiles be properly merged by you Curators?

Compare Profiles shows you information that is otherwise private.
I think probably that is all that is going on.
There is now a requested merge on the two profiles, but they are not yet merged.
The two are still separate.

The claimed profile is also deceased - according to what we see in the requested merge. I see it has been reported. Hopefully Customer Service will soon close that person's account.

Thank you Private User ! - I sent a detailed explanation to Private User about this genealogy because it connects to living people very much worth to have their ancestry in best shape wheather they have time to participate on Geni or not. - I just saw that there are more merges to do, after we successfully have merged also the duplicates "Kristina" and "Christina" in the tree and then can connect Kristina to her already on Geni being ancestry.
