Thanks for the reference. The Yehuda described there dies in 1196, which means he could not be the son of Maestro Calo (1286-1328). I don't know what may have caused the confusion, perhaps the notion that all Kalonymuses, which is just a common given name, must be descendants of the Meshulam HaGadol Kalonymus. I don't see any reason to preserve the connection between Maestro Calo and Shmuel ben Abraham BTW allow me to thank you for the thankless job of patrolling so many profiles.
I'd be glad to help. I don't have any sources for these profiles apart from what is generally available online: https://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/9173-kalonymus-ben-kalo... and https://www.encyclopedia.com/religion/encyclopedias-almanacs-transc.... I don't know whether his father was Kalonymos(?!) ben Meir. I have seen no sources for a Shmuel ben Abraham. Considering the non-matching patronymic and the absence of source for Shmuel ben Avraham, and the distance in time and geography between Shmuel bca 1215 in Regensburg and Maestro Calo bca 1286 in Arles, I have simply detached Maestro Calo from Shmuel on my offline tree. I think that would be a reasonable and non-complicated thing to do here. If later on someone comes up with evidence to the contrary it would be a snap to re-connect them.
