I have somehow found myself in the Anderson lines of Horry County as they are connected to so many families, including my own in more ways than I had imagined. But anyhow, I found what I think it a major mess on Find a Grave profile for https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/29618405/david-russell-anderson which lists his father as a profile from New England https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/20578218/david-anderson. It is also that way on other platforms as you can imagine.

I could not find profiles for the Horry Andersons here, but have made what I believe is the correct profile for a David Anderson of Horry based on a will I found in the South Carolina Archives that notes David Anderson of Horry District and wife Rebecca Anderson from 1849.

From SC Archives - http://www.archivesindex.sc.gov/

Lists sons David R. Anderson, Silvius Anderson, John G. Anderson, Samuel N. Anderson, Thomas J. Anderson, Daughters (or sometimes implied daughters) Elizabeth Sessions, Sarah Sessions, Margaret Anderson, Mary Jane Williams, More work to be done on profiles and noted slave profiles.

I have additional info that needs to go on some of the other profiles as they connect into other families. I am pretty sure that I know where Elizabeth and Sarah Sessions go and Mary Jane Williams with spouses.

Thing is, I would like to make sure that the two David Andersons do not get confused. I cannot find the Mass/NY David Anderson in the Geni database, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Does anyone have any ideas or if fixing it here will help sort it out on other platforms. I have seen that happen. Not sure how to approach Find a Grave, but it is not correct. I have sent them corrections before. Thoughts????
