Lately I've had about three lines I was tracing back that come to Nana and then I have to halt because of the controversy over who her father actually was. I don't know which paternal pathway is correct, so I always have to stop here.

Even though the profile notes state:

"According to the Georgian chronicles, Nana was "from Greek territory, from Pontus, the daughter of Oligotos" This might have been a Georgian corruption of either "Olympius" or "Theothorses", two Bosporan kings."

she is still connected as a daughter of Thothorses, king of Bosphorus and not Oligotos.

I laid out the conflicting information. there is no definitive answer

But, if that's the case, she shouldn't have either father connected, as following the line of the father she is connected to could be giving false kinship pathways on Geni, which is why I always have to stop at Nana. I can't trust that the paternal line she is connected to are my ancestors. This is why I don't think unproven parents should be connected. And even your curator notes indicate she's likely the daughter of Oligotos. Just saying...

there was no king named Oligotos, its a Georgian name corruption of one of the two listed kings

Ok, that being the case, you said there's no definitive answer to who her father was. So why is f Thothorses, king of Bosphorus connected as her father when your curator notes say:

"According to the Georgian chronicles, Nana was "from Greek territory, from Pontus, the daughter of Oligotos" This might have been a Georgian corruption of either "Olympius" or "Theothorses", two Bosporan kings."

Again, how can I be certain Thothorses and his ancestors are actually my ancestors? And if I can't, they shouldn't be connected.

I'd love to have that line as my 'for certain' ancestry because I'd have some cool ancestors, but I haven't added them to my personal tree because Nana's parentage is so sketchy.

because Christian Settipani identifies Nana as a daughter of Theothorses.

Then why the curator and other notes indicating uncertainty about her parentage?

FIRST OF ALL, I AM NOT SHOUTING, I WRITE I CAPS BECAUSE IT;S EASIER FOR ME. THE IRISH ARE NOT LISTED IN THE BIBLE THAT I READ; I DON'T ACKNOLEDGE ANY interpretation OF WHAT OTHERS AND WHY THEY ATTEMPT TO ADD THEIR OWN WORDS THAT DON'T EXIST IN THE KJV BIBLE FOR THOSE WHO SPEAK THE LOUDEST, ARE IGNORANT OF THE TRUTH

Caps are fine with me STEVEN.
