Donovan Nicholls - donovan nicholls

Hi Harry
Thank you for the information on your grandfather, Donovan Nicholls. Could you let me know the name of his wife/partner (the mother of Mary, Donovan Francis and Julia). Are these three still living? How many siblings did he have? I have May, Dorothy, Francis, Herbert, Gladys, Philip and possibly another sister. Is this correct? Thank you.

@hi steve my grandfather donovan (curly) nicholls was married to mary mcniven? (not 100% sure on surname) born circa 1900 died june 7 1992. info on mary has been hard to find . .. the children - mary (molly) born oct 21 1926 died 2017 , donovan francis william nicholls (my father) born july 29 1932 is still alive . julia birth and death dates not sure but died as an infant
the only family we were aware of was his brother francis welcome nicholls

Thanks for the additional information, I've amended my records on Geni. We are only very distantly connected. My mother's uncle was George Pickard. One of his daughters (Lucy Bertha) married into the Andrews family, her sister in law (Sara) was married to a John Smith Nicholls and I think she was Curly's grandmother. Very tenuous link I'm sure you'll agree!!
