Dora, my grandmother is buried at Britton Road Cemetery in Greece, NY. This is a suburb of Rochester, NY. . .

Updated

According to New York State Death Index, 1880-1956 she actually died Richmond, Ontario, New York not Rochester, Monroe, New York?

I never said in which city or county Dora Franklin passed away. I always assumed that it was in Rochester. I would like to see the death information you have concerning Dora. The bottom line is that Dora, my grandmother, is buried at Britton Road Cemetery. She is in The Beth Harkness North area, Row 21, Grave 4. I have been to the cemetery and found the grave site.. A fellow by the name of Zev Lipschutz did some research for me in Monroe County records in 2005. His findings were consistent with what I have learned about Dora, her marriage to S. Hochstein, their child Lottie, her second marriage to Max Franklin and their child, my mother Rose Franklin. Lottie had one child Sheldon. I confirmed a lot when talking to Sheldon, who has since passed.

Hi Mark, I uploaded the record that I found yesterday to Dora's profile for you. Here is a link to view it https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000181284037128

The location of death is "Rch" which is apparently an abbreviation for Richmond, at least according to MyHeritage who digitised the record. It is possible that "Rch" could be an abbreviation for Rochester, I am not an expert on 1920s NY abbreviations :)
