Does anybody know why Moshe Joseph FinnPazernov's Last Name is/should be "FinnPazernov"? Or should it just be Pazernov? Or?

How do you think his last name should be listed?

I'm not sure where Pazernov changed to Finn except where I see the name in the family tree: starting with Moshe Yosef Finn (Pazernov).
Was it a name change? a maiden name somewhere? or otherwise

I just found an email Harold Rhode sent me in 2016.
It was about a DNA Match of his cousin to s Kit I manage and included that his cousin's "mother's maiden name was Finn, which in Lithuania was Pazernov"
Which suggests it was Pazernov in the Old Country/Lithuania Finn in the USA.

And he also mentions there that "Part of the Pazernov family used the name BARRON"

It seems to me on Marriage and Death Records, at least in Massachusetts, the records always (or at least almost always) listed a man's father with the same last name as the man.
Think it was simply an assumption made by folks filling out the forms.
