The Cantrell line from BATH County Kentucky and GREEN County Kentucky have long been mixed up and intermingled. It is would be nice to have these lines completely separated and the misinformation which has Circulated for so long deleted. I have found information for these families under many spellings the following just a few: Cantrell, Cantrel, Canterole, Cantrill, Cantril,Cantarile, Catarile, Cantrol, Cantral, Cantrall, Carotribo, etc.
The Zebulon from BATH County KY: Had one KNOWN wife. IT IS POSSIBLE HE HAD A PREVIOUS ONE TO HANNAH. DOCUMENTED WIFE IS AS FOLLOWS: 2 June 1821 LAND RECORD: Zebulon "Cantril" and wife "Hannah" sold (Grantor) 104 acres of land. Hannah relinquished her rights of dower. He then lived in Greene Co, "OH". This family came from VIRGINIA. TheY had the following children:

The Zebulon from GREEN County, KY DIED in in 1808. His wife was POLLY MORROW. They came from Orange County, NC. I have not not documented this family and would highly recommend each child being carefully researched and documented. .
Some of BOTH of the above families did end up in ILL and IOWA.
