According to her daughter, the correct spelling is Juliet.
Her birth certificate, which I have not seen, says "Juliet Aletta DOUBELL" but (according to said daughter) she wanted to be known as Juliet Aletta Maria. The latter's reflected on Juliet's marriage record, including by her signature.
