Died around Sept 15, 1865 in Nashville TN.
He is confirmed to have mustered out of the Wisconsin 1st infantry of the Civil war, and therefore did NOT die in the war.
The circumstances of his death are suspicious according to newspapers of the time (in TN and WI).
