To me, it looks like Eric's parents are the ones with the Finnish names, as the place of birth also matches. Merikarvia is almost 100km from Kauhajoki though.
However, as the dates of birth for both sets of parents are different, then this would mean the names are not just Finnish/Swedish equivalents.
