Is there any source and/or documentation for his parents?
Asking because I find conflicting info on his parents on some sites and most sites don't have any listed at all.
1. I have seen his father as John and Margaret as connected here on Geni. Sometimes Margaret is an Amos by birth who married a Porter and other sites show her as a Porter by birth and even have Porter parents for her.
2. I have seen his father as Robert and his mother as Abigail Wright.
I can't find anything with good enough documentation to be certain who his parents are and I'm hoping someone else on the profile has some information.
