Jenison Flaviel (or GINASON) Glazier - Conflicting Mothers

Debbie -- Jenison Flaviel Glazier is my 3rd Great Grandfather. My records show he was one of 9 children born to David Glazier & Fear Alden Glazier... I think he was number 5 in the order of birth in Willington, Tolland County, Conn.
My family records also show that David Glazier was married a total of four times... but Fear Alden was the first. Connecticut Town birth records (pre-1870) show a handwirttern record of "Ginason Flavel Glazier, son of David Glazier by Fear his wife was born Feb 10th, 1804."
Sometime about 1835 or so, he moved to Michigan. This is where most of my more recent ancestors were born and reared.

Thanks for that info, Alan. That definitely helps and confirms how I have them connected in my Ancestry tree. I appreciate the info so much.

Alan, what I was working on is a DNA match with a Donald Brooks on Ancestry. Using his tree, I've been unable to find our common ancestors resulting in the DNA match, but I did find he is a very distant cousin another way...as a descendant of Fear and David. I often find another more distant conneciton like this with DNA matches that I have no idea who the nearer common ancestor is. I tadd them to my tree as clues toward finding the path of the nearer kinship I hope to eventually discover.
