Aaron's surname sometimes mistyped by some sources Wofford instead of Wolford. That's almost cleared up.

I took the liberty of fleshing the tree out some. There is also a son "Trench" in the 1900 US census.

Are you aware of the SmartCopy app?

Yes, I'm aware of it. Don't use it, myself. Me using it would cause more work to clean up details for others, I think.

I think i recall reading something about,"Trench", researched some called French or Trench. Nickname or slang or just mistyped, mistranslated or mis pronounced.

Each to their own, it's a tool like any other.

I changed "Laura" to "Flora" per her birth registration and tombstone, I think either/both being more reliable than the census. I added "Laura" to the AKA field, not because she might have used it during her lifetime but because other researchers might mistakenly be looking for that name. I also added Walford to Aaron and Elizabeth's AKAs. Adding spelling variants to the AKA field can really help the matching software finding duplicates.

I wonder if Trench may be a nephew? He's unfortunately born just before the lost 1890 census so by the time of the 1910 he could be deceased or has moved away from home.

I searched Tucker County births between 1886 and 1890 and Flora is the only child I can find registered to Aaron and Elizabeth. No children registered to anyone with name Trench or similar, for that matter no child named Trench registered anywhere in WV during 1878-1898.
