The parents of William Gamaliel Beebe, b. 1852, d. 1937, are Judson Arnold Beebe and Eliza Ann Simpson. I don't want to alter someone's work, but just FYI.

Also - William's wife was Mildred Roberta Vorhies.

Are you familiar with the revisions function here on Geni?
Not sure how your line was assigned incorrect parents? Looks like William Gamaliel Beebe made the connection. Perhaps inadvertently? There are little "goblins" who "run amok" here on Geni - Ha. The computer just "does stuff" at times. I've learned to bruash them off so to speak.
Are you satisfied with the adjustments?
On another topic. Care for a boat ride, LEXI? Heading over to feed out around noon FYI ......

Hey Ann....sorry I didn't see your message until 3:50 pm... missed another chance for a boat ride.

Not very familiar with the revisions function on Geni...I'm on so many sites, I can't keep them all straight! I'll look into it though : )

Yes, WG Beebe created the connection with the wrong parents... I think I accepted a suggested match, without realizing I needed to look at it first... still figuring this one out. Thanks for disconnecting the incorrect parents!

No biggie. I've been merging for several years now. It's very easy to make that mistake. Also, if I am tired or distracted I can forget to check carefully. One click & whoosh it's starts a wildfire, literally. When it does happen (especially in lines that are confusing with many siblings, extra spouses, etc.) it can make HUGE data work for Curators. Needlesless to say they do not like it. I'm pretty scared of making "bad merges" ....... shudder. Here's a rule of thumb. When in doubt just pass it over. The merge will keep surfacing until someone knows what to do with it. Ha Happy to see you are finding more time for your history. Yours is facinating!
Infinite rain check on the boat ride.
