Perhaps both Y-Chromosome DNA are correct for Franklin. My tree is a work in progress. The REED/Franklin/Williams surnames are on my mother maternal and paternal side. I have reason to suspect that I am closely related to both of those Y-chromosome DNA donors as in the case of twins. I need a research genealogist but sadly I cannot afford to pay what they deserve. I see a double cousin relationship with many of my DNA confirmed matches indicating my mom and dad just may be related to eachother. My mother's mother was born a Franklin. My mother was born a Williams. Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
My bio father surname is HOSEA. (pronounced Hoe-see) no slave history found.
