My mother was born a Fuller in Mesa, AZ in 1924, which leads me to wonder about something. Any insight would be most helpful.

Two different Samuel Fullers married a Mary Ide. Is it possible that Mary Fuller Ide married John Redway after Capt. Samuel Fuller died during King Philip’s War in 1676? Mary Ide was almost age 27 when he Capt. Fuller died.

Mary née Ide’s Redway children were all born after Capt. Samuel Fuller died:
Capt. James – b. 10 Jan 1679
2-3. John & Preserved (twin boys) – b. 10 Sep 1682
4. Martha – b. 27 July 1687)

Ide is not a common surname among early colonialists What appears to be a complete listing of immigrants from ship records is available at https://packrat-pro.com/ships/shiplist.htm
A search of the website shows no family or passenger with the Ide surname, though either some ship captains didn’t keep passenger lists, or several records are either illegible or are permanently lost.
