I am pleased to find this continuation of my Haley line. I had it out to 1675 Edward in Virginia. This work takes it to 1255 with Bartholomew de Hele. I am also a Lindsay of the several branches of that family in Scotland. They descend from Gilbert de Ghent, of Flanders, of the lords of Allos, Ftamders, a branch of the Counts of Flanders. Gilbert was 1st Cus. to Maud of Flanders, daughter of the Count of Flanders and wife of William of Normandy. They have three lines of descent from Charlemagne.
