The author(s) of the overview for my grandfather James Edward Hogan have confused him with his father James Hogan (1872-1935). My grandfather James Edward was only 12 or so years old when he left Iowa and never own a blacksmth shop with anyone. His father was a blacksmith and my have worked togathter with hs brother but I have not found any documentation of this.
