2 William Taylors clarified, and residences.

There are 2 William Taylor’s of Carter Co, TN; in the early 1800’s censuses of 1830, 40, 50.

William #1, The 1850 Census p. 3/20, dwelling 17, establishes this William Taylor wife2 Amy Waggoner (pre-1849 wife1 Elender Hyder) of District 5, Gap Creek Powder Branch. He is also found in the 1840 census p. 31/66; and 1830 census p. 29/74. (by comparing neighbors across all 3 censuses).

William #2, The 1850 Census p. 15/19, dwelling 111, establishes this William Taylor wife Mary Ann Wilson of District 10, Stoney Creek. He is also found in the 1840 census p. 23/66; and 1830 census p. 65/74. (by comparing neighbors across all 3 censuses).

Nothing documents any relationship.
William 1 is Y-Dna haplogroup I-M253, and is the geni page William.

David Wayne Taylor if there are two profiles which are easy to confuse we can make them both Master Profiles, one of the features of MPs is that two MPs cannot be merged into each other.

Thanks.
This is the geni account of William #2.
