Here we have no parents for Henry Brune. But "The Visitation of the County of Dorset, taken in 1623", https://archive.org/details/visitationofcound00stge/page/n41/mode/2up, clearly provides a line. Is this corrupted or should we add it in?

In The House of Martin (https://archive.org/details/houseofmartinbei00wats/page/99/mode/2up) the father of Henry Brune is given as Sir John Brune, Knight. That is cited in this profile, under sources, by Erica Howton . This matches with the Visitation of the County of Dorset, as cited above. That source goes on to give the father of John as a senior John, son of Thomas, who was son of Mauritius Brun and brother of Sir Henry Brune. Mauitius is here, as Morice le Bruyn (Morice le Bruyn, Kt.). I have reviewed the revisions page and it does not seem that Thomas was ever included as a son, even through several profile merges. Cockayne does not include Thomas (https://archive.org/details/completepeerageo02coka/page/356/mode/2up) but he is concerned only with the transfer of the lordship of the property (Sir Henry died before his father, and the rights went to the heirs of Sir Henry.)
So, Erica Howton and Private User , as my go-to authorities, can the Visitation be relied on to the extent that we fill in the three missing generations from Henry Brune to Morice le Bruyn?
I’ve sketched in to Mary Bankes if we can add more sourcing?
Steven Mitchell Ferry good find as far as I can see, thank you.
