Can Geni management put stop on "collaborating methods" of Livo Scremin, please? Please take a look at merges he did on these two profiles: https://www.geni.com/revisions/profile/6000000183325814933?rev_id=8... and
https://www.geni.com/merge/view?revision_id=81623720610.

He keeps deleting the last name I wrote of this profile Peregrina Nogarola, nobile veneta

Please take a look at profile Laura Nogarola named "lower your privacy if you want to collaborate in medieval Italy" created and merged with Laura Nogarola.

I know that I am not the only person that he is doing this to.

Thank you

inside the profiles you will find notes, citations to sources & connections
..since we can't even write to you..

and sorry but why do you go around with your & family names -- -- canceled !?
(PLZ read the info about notes, don't delete them:)

La Peregrina is a Spanish word. It means "the Pilgrim-woman".
Just wonder if "Peregrina Nogarola (Giustiniani), nobile veneta" was noted as such?

Private User I say that Livio is doing exactly what is right, he is a genious, He teach us in this area what is right, we can all benefit from his knowledge and learn something that we didn't know. It's not bulliyng, it's teaching.

Learn, adopt, and go on stronger in knowledge. We, this site Geni, would actuallly need more people like Livio, not less. I admit, having wrong can be hard to swallow, but just do it.

Justiniani (Iustinianus) is a variation of Italian last name Giustiniani. Yes, she is a female so the author wrote Justiniana. To discuss word origins, join https://forum.wordreference.com.

Even if it Justiniani wasn't Giustiniani, it doesn't justify vandalism of somebody else's profle.

I am waiting for you to admit that you are wrong Ulf.

OMG TNX @Ulf :D

@Branco the problem is that you have landed in Italy with your system of double names / double / surnames / between bars / and / bars everywhere /

I fixed the ones I could with the multilingual that you don't seem to use / know .. now you are stubborn on the Peregrina Nogarola, nobile veneta profile, continuing to change it so many times that I lost count.. as you can see the profile was already there for 3 years.. whit out / bars / and I'm sorry I tried in every way to explain to you in the info-about .. but I see that you continue to change and use your system of / bars /

I'm sure happy that after a while you started to leave links to the sources, here maybe another lesson could be to tell you that the tables would be better loaded as documents not as a photograph ..

..but I'm having a hard time controlling all your moves:

I have written the name Justiniana back exactly as many times as it was deleted. If Alex or Justin want to add name Carlo back next to Antonius, I will not stop them. I would be interested to see the source for the name Carlo, though.

Isn't it interesting how the subject gets changed to what I am doing "wrong" and how I need to be "educated" ("Another Brick in the Wall")?

ops but I see that you insist.. I was writing this:

<"Even if it Justiniani wasn't Giustiniani, it doesn't justify vandalism of somebody else's profle." >
Sorry but seem to have confused ideas:

1) being specified "Venetian nobles": Justiniani / Giustiniani, with female appellation Justiniana / Giustiniania ..it is without a shadow of a doubt that exactly the same family ..(it seemed to be clear from the same examples you provided in the links .. type of the bishop) [if you didn't trust the local native & admn you found inside:]

2) it seems strange but yet it seems you do not understand, that you have fallen on profiles already here years before you [(but no problem, that's fine, you and the documents are welcome:) if you find old abandoned mistakes PLZ you leave a note of correction:]

3) ..sorry no more time

Try not to use slashes in names. Use the language tabs, and use AKA, comma separated.

Livio Scremin , I wanted to message you privately, but it appears that you have blocked me. Surprising, because I have never even had any significant disagreement with you. But there it is, and I can do no more.

I "have fallen on profiles already here years before", because the sources that I have found (and provided) use the name Justiniana, not Giustiniani. I have created my profile interdependently of already existing profile because the search engine couldn't find it as Justiniana. My goal is to prevent everybody else from having the same problem. I have resolved and connected the Nogalis tree, and many others, because of the system that I use. My system works. It is a big part of the World Tree growth in past 10 years. Nobody else was able to connect random Nogarola branches before me because they use a bureaucracy system rather than a research method. Why is AKA more efficient or correct than / (slash)?

The search engine on geni (which could be better) does not look for alternate spellings within slashes, so it’s visual only. However, it does search in the AKA field, between commas. I’ll try and find and post more details from the Help platform.

Those links don't answer my question, Erica. Why is AKA more efficient or correct than / (slash)?

The search engine searches for any individual word regardless of a / or AKA.

Erica, can you please elaborate how do you see, and justify, four specific issues I mentioned in my initial post?

Someone PLZ cut Doge marriage whit Laura Nogarola

because the Italian text of this source describes the knot with the Doge, but then the text says and even proves that it is a mistake:

-So for solve I merged Doge & Dogaressa:
-I re-entered the namesake correctly mentioned Nicolai Trono
-invited to administer the new profile
-left warning notes all around (even the encyclopedic studies on the Doge cited this known error)
-sent a cut request to an esteemed (C) collaborator (but by now our private tread must be too full of trafficked:)

As you can see from the previus post Livio himself merged his "Doge" profile to my Nicolai Trono profile, changed the name and now he wants it un-merged. Go for it. Mistakes happen. I never claimed that my Nicolai Trono was the "Doge".

Estonian principles of entering data
https://www.geni.com/projects/Estonian-principles-of-entering-data/...

The keyword being "principles", not "rules to be enforced by unauthorized users".

1) "Nicolai Trono" can be a homonymy, but if you following just only the first part of the source marry him whit..
.."Dea Tron Morosini" : she is exactly the same --> dogaressa Alidea Tron
so "Nicolai Trono" is automatically the Doge, but no problem solved and explained.. [a small easy (C) cut is enough]

2) Italian source, Italian profiles, Italian zone, Italian book, Italian families .. sorry I haven't seen any Estonians around here yet ..are you?

3) about Peregrina Nogarola, nobile veneta surname changed for the umpteenth time, with slashes and slashes.. now I put the surname of the family in the AKA, and I leave "the feminine appellation" in the surname field.. hoping .i..
