My paternal grandfather was Ignacy/Ignatius Soltysiak (1888-1967). He came from Rataje, Poland. His parents were Stanislaw Soltysiak (abt:1848-1895) & Franciszka Sieracka/Sieradzka (1852-?). Stanislaw's parents were Wojciech Soltysiak & Marianna Kotecka.
Stanislaw's sibling was: Katarzyna Soltysiak (abt:1842-?)(there may be more) & she married a Walenty Nowak (1836-?).
Ignacy/Ignatius siblings were: Michael, Marianna, Joseph, Teresa, Marceli #1, Wiktoria, Wladyslaw, Marceli #2. Ignacy/Ignatius & Marceli lived to adulthood & immigrated to the USA. The only other 2 that lived to adulthood were possibly Wiktoria & Teresa. The rest died in childhood or at birth. The "story" is a daughter did live to adulthood & became a nun back in Poland.
I have not been able to find any documents AT ALL on my grandfather back in Poland. None. And I have not found marriage or death records on Marianna or Wiktoria. Does anyone have any of these people in their trees? Anything on Ignacy/Ignatius? Thank you.... Carol
