

Jonathan Scott Krengel -- way, way back when Geni only allowed each profile to have one manager, the more complete profile got the priority.
Now that is still looked at - but
if one version is a claimed profile, it is primary
If not, then if one version has more msnagers then it is primary.
There have been a few times where it seemed they gave primary to the version managed by a very close family member despite same number of managers and other being the more complete.
Inactive managers and which was created first all also play in to the considerations for determining primary.
However -- LOOK - the Compare Profiles Screen will show the Primary Profile on the Left.
