Hi, whoever sees this. Is there some way we are meant to consistently handle different orthographics and especially different writing systems to facilitate searching and perusing family trees? For this record, I did a copy/paste of the Hebrew name and got a translation of "Levi Rubin". But unfortunately, in the main Geni tree UI, there's no way to copy text from someone's name (in order to paste it into a translation app)! So it takes a lot of time and effort for me to scan through records when they're all in Hebrew (and I don't read a word of Hebrew!).

It would be really great if Geni has a way to specify "alternative names" for people, to also include the Latin version of the name (e.g. "Levi Rubin" in this case). Otherwise, maybe we can mix them in the names themselves somehow? (לוי רובין / Levi Rubin) ? I realize the latter is much less desirable given the fact that it would mess up search queries and of course one language in this case is written left to write, while the other is right to left. :-(

Thanks for any ideas.

Steve
