It is very hard to miss any new public discussion because newest one shows on the top of the list of all discussions. Somebody working for Geni has the responsibility to keep an eye on all discussions. Discussions are simply not left unmonitored.
Each notification about deleted profile says "...was deleted by Customer Service". Regardless if deletion is caused by some automatic script or a person leaving Geni, it is the Customer Service's responsibility. There are two main possibilities about who is doing this, either Geni Customer Service does this on purpose, or Geni automatic script writers are not very competent. I can think of a few other possibilities about why, and how, this happened, but I don't want to speculate here about something I can't prove.

No, not true.
The 'Sticky' discussions all come above the non-sticky discussions.
Then within those two categories they are ordered by the most recent comment -- NOT the most recently created.
2) Re: "Somebody working for Geni has the responsibility to keep an eye on all discussions. " -- Wherever do you get that idea? Or is it just your statement of how you think it ought to be?
3) Distinctly remember reading complaints of Photos being deleted - think by you. Did I accidentally post the question about Photos in the wrong Discussion, or did I apparently just dream that?
