My name is Nigel Spencer-Brummel (né Spitzer-Brummel).
My father Rolf Ewart Spitzer-Brummel was the sole survivor in his family (from Bruntal) after the Nazis took Czechoslovakia and exterminated both Bohemians (Moravians) and Jews. He anglicized our name when I was a year old, not wanting a German name after the war.
