I've located the DN for Gert J (J) Pretorius and according to the DN the DOD and location agree to what is on his profile.
There are a few issues:
1) He was either married to somebody else before his marriage to Saartjie Raats in 1854, or they had at least 4 "voor-kinders"
2) His 2nd son signed (with an X) the DN, but did not know how old his father was
3) The combination of parents is a 'match', except that the stepmother is listed as his mother.
Once we have located a baptism record for him and his children, we should be able to resolve the issue of a possible 1st wife.
