Just received a smart match for Eliza Jane Tucker McCallum. The smart match shows her as my first cousin twice removed . . . Someone is really confused. Eliza was my grandmother!!
No confusion. Smart matches are to duplicate profiles. In this case an incomplete tree merge. The 2nd copy of Eliza shows as a first cousin twice removed because it's not the same profile as the profile of Eliza that is directly connected to you.
