Hi, my 2x great grandfather was named Peter Nenzen (through family lore). It doesn't look like either a patronymic name or any sort of a place name. Curious about origins. Peter Nenzen's only direct descendants are in the US. They might've immigrated in 1868 and came to Nebraska. He had 3 daughters, one of whom died (Lydia) before marrying/having children and Anna/Annie Nenzen Eklund had no children. The 3rd daughter is my great grandmother.
Peter's great grandson and great granddaughter are still alive. They are 97 and 100 now.
