Historians suggest that Joao Albasini had a common law wife in Delagoa Bay named Joaquina. They had two sons Antonio and Francisco Joao as well as six grandchildren. Apparently one or more descendants in South Africa destroyed family documents that referred to his life in Mozambique. However some documentation in Mozambique remained. Could Joaquina be (NN) Albasini? It seems so.
