I see the source of the marriage in 1610 as shown, but I see no exhibit/source that Edward died Mar 25, 1630. Stating a specific date normally comes with a source, but none is cited. The first son was Grevason Brantley born 1612 according to Parish records of All Saints parish, Evesham, England. Recent research project in England has establish the likely lineage of this Edward back another 3 generations: Project still underway.

Removed death date of March 25, 1630. It was sourced from FamilySearch in 2016, but the link is no longer viable.

I find it risky to use FamilySearch as a source without other documentation. I am afraid many files are copied and pasted there without any research by the patron. It is unfortunate, but it happens there and in Ancestry, where many of these originated. Everybody means well, but there are perhaps 6 or 8 times more visitors and surfacers than there are true researchers. Thank goodness that not all these go copy and paste, based on what somebody said.
If anyone wants specifics from me on my claims, please fill free to call on me. Not all are given with documentation beyond an extensive collection of facts which may not always be submitted without a detailed study. Most of these are spelled put in our PAF & Ancestral Quest files.

Thank you.

Geni started as a series of GEDCOM uploads from FamilySearch & Ancestry trees, so it’s always a challenge to get the files merged and properly cited.
