unmerge my tree

Please return my tree to my own management & and with the information I put in this morning, 14 May 2022. I thought I was just becoming a follower of another person's tree not merging them together and losing my own management.

Geni doesn't do personal private trees. Geni's goal is one World Family Tree that we collaborate together to create.
If you want a private genealogy tree that you alone control, then My Heritage or Ancestry is the right tool for that.

When profiles are merged, the manager(s) of each become the managers of the merged profile, so none of you loses your management.
If you are outside the profile's Max Family, someone within the profile's Max Family can remove you as a Manager. But if you are within the profile's Max Family, then nobody but you can remove you as manager. AND you can add yourself as manager of profiles in your Max Family (as long as its not a Geni user)
