I have determined, via dna analysis, that Amelia was not actually a biological Durston descendant.

The most likely identity of her biological father is Francis Bennatt; an uncle by marriage. At the very least, it must be he, or one of his brothers.

Hi Mark
I would like to know how you determined this as your mother is not Biological to both Clement and Grace as it says in your that your mother is a step child to grace. So I assume from that it is saying that Clement either had your mother to another woman or your mother was adopted.
I cannot find anything without purchasing certificates that says your mother is the bio child of clement only the four John,Maree,Clement and Peter.
Have you uploaded your DNA somewhere so I/we can compare. Mine is in ancestry and Gedcom.

Craig

My Gedmatch number is A492768 if you want to compare through Gedmatch

Mark on further looking your barking up the wrong tree your Clement is different to mine

I am finding GENI klunky and difficult to operate. My mother is most definitely the chikd of my grandmother and grandfather; plenty of verified dna matches confirm my firsthand knowledge of my grandparents. I expected to be able to link my mother to my grandmother after the two copies of my grandfather had been merged, but it appears that I must also create a copy of her and merge them as well. I shall endeavour to achieve this as early as possible so as not to further alarm you.

You won't find any information regarding my mother's parentage accessible, as she is still living. She also has 3 other living siblings, making a total of eight brothers and sisters. FYI, my uncles listed as John and Clement went by Barry and Jim respectively.

I am more than happy to discuss my researchbin greater depth on some other, perhaps more private platform. I shall shall have a look on Ancestry for you; I believe I have seen Plunkett in relation to a tree, but don't readily recall you in the dna match lists of myself, my mother, or two aunts on that side ...
