Her will was dated 17 May 1866, and it was probated in September of 1866 in Lauderdale County. I can find no other documentation of a specific date of death. What is the source of the June 26th date?

County death records not kept until 1881. Source may have been something like Findagrave.com, Familysearch.org, or Ancestry.com, all of which are secondary (but sometimes cite primary sources).

It's not on her memorial on Findagrave, and have searched extensively for primary sources on Ancestry and Familysearch. The date seems to originate in recopied family trees. I will fix it here.

Okay. Keep an eye peeled for a blurb in the local newsrag - there may have been one, if she was of sufficient local importance.

It's weird - I have looked, because she was very prominent - being a Lee and having very large landholdings in the area. But there is nothing I have found, with multiple name variations, in Virginia, Tennessee, OR Arkansas in the local papers. She may have not wanted it.
