Recent DNA Results of the Big Y Surname Study at FTDNA have proven that George was not the son of George and Sarah Dunweddie Lowe of K&Q. This George may be the son of one of George Gresham b. 1710 brothers. DNA will eventually place him into the correct line of descendants from Edward Immigrant Gresham.
If this is your line, please be advised that George and Betty Watts were married before 1767. She is mentioned in the will of her father Thomas Watts. There is another marriage record for 1781 for a George Green and another Betty Wattc that is being attached to this George and Betty in error. Please try to clean up that old error floating around online.
The birthdate of 1736 from Miss Bagby's Bible Records seemed to fit for this George, but older family researchers made a mistake when they connected them as being the same person
