I am not sure if this is related, but since I saw your message i decided that I would respond just in case.

When I was searching for one of our lines TeClaw, which originates from De Sevile = DeSilva = DeSalvo (Polish pronounciation of the word), that became to be spelled TeClaw due to Polish spelling patterns, then I searched in JRI Database using sound. The family was also called Turks, because they spent part of the time in Turkey. By coincidence, the names similar to your surname came up, such as Druck, and Drucker, and names similar using the Sound similarity.

PS. JRI gave these results (among others) when I searched for Turk:

Druk, Tirk, Turk, Turch, Tragau, Tuerk, Drug, TeClaw, DeSlow, Tzecraft, etc. using the Soundex. Spelling was not unified at that time, and people in the same family might spell the same surname differently.
