The notes in her Overview make it seem that her parents are unknown and that, actually, all the info known about her is sketchy:
"Some sources give her birth place as Rappahannock, but his is not possible, since the peninsula that includes Rappahannock was not settled until 1644. It is more likely that she was born in Ponisford, Somerset, England prior to her parents embarkation. Death place is variously reported as Charles City, Tindall's Point in Gloucester Co., and Rappahannock.
Please Note: Robert married Elizabeth Grizzell, although no records exist as proof. Very little is known about Elizabeth, other than the name "Grizzell" is a Scottish form of "Grace". There were at least two men in the colony at that time with the surname of Grizzell: HUMPHREY and WILLIAM. Nothing further is known about either man. Robert and Elizabeth had six known surviving children: Thomas, Robert, Joseph, Grizzell, Daniel and John."
So what is the proof for the parents attached to her? It seems that the Humphrey and William mentioned in the notes have been combined into one person - William Humphrey Grizzell and that is likely not a correct name for him. With the notes in the profile conflicting with what is connected to Elizabeth, I can't be certain without further proof that the lineage attached to her are actually my ancestors.
