I am doing research on Andrew J Belott. I am a member of the New Energy Cemetery Association, and our goal is to place a marker by his grave. Our community, Belott, is named after him and I would like to get any information that perhaps his family/ancestors might have. I would like more information about this "prominent early settler" of Houston County, TX that our community is named after.
