Geni is a collaborative site and I and our staff have repeatedly warned many of the Danish users about their anti-cooperative behavior, including perpetuating the management war by adding and merging duplicates for no purpose other than to gain management. We recognize that some duplication is going to occur but for some of you there's a clear history of massive duplication and merging almost immediately. I have removed some managers when we've detected this, and will probably end up removing more.
You should all know by now that you can add yourself as manager of profiles within your maximum family range, and remove manager who are not withing that range. Beyond that, we expect our users to cooperate with each other on profiles in which many users have a legitimate interest. Anyone not willing to do that should go ahead and close your account before we do it for you. The messages in this discussion are increasingly inflammatory and have been deleted.
