Hello:
My great grandfather Karl Erik Sundberg (Johnson) was from Tjudo. His wife Olga was a Lindberg from Bolstaholm, Geta. In 1980 (too long ago) I visited Aland for one day and drove to Bostaholm to visit the Lindbergs there. I realize now that the old man Hjalmar was nearly 100 at that time. My grandmother Eleanor had written to them in Swedish most of her life.
I of course have some gaps in my history, and am hoping that some of you may have some information on these families, or the locations generally. I plan to visit again once Covid has lifted. Thank you to Simo Lindberg who has been of great assistance to me by researching and making additions to my tree.
Erik Johnson’s granddaughter Evelyn Keller is my mother. She is alive and well with all her wits at age 87, living near the Atlantic Ocean in New Jersey.
