Hello Cousins:
Thomas Hammond is my 18th Great Grandfather. His wife is Cycely de Alycel.
I am at a loss here to discover who she is, where she came from, the names of her real parents, etc
She is listed in references as a Plantagenet, daughter of King Edward III and Queen Philippa Hainaut.
I have researched each of their children and she is not listed as their daughter. In fact, she is not listed anywhere.
Her birth year 1340.
King Edward and Queen Philippa had a son, John of Gaunt also born in that same year.
