Appears to be a problem here.
Willem Oushoorn possibly illegitimate son if van Rhed van Oudshoorn.
Trying to track with documents / sources.
His grt grandchildren sussrly use van Rgedde van Oudshoorn surnane.
However I think that was presumptuous and pretentious.

More help would be appreciated here

Saw baptism 3 versions mother no surname or Crouse or Coetse but not Sevenster.

Added her as xtra mother till we can confirm sevenster or her.

That document is taken from TANAP, but I can't seem to access TANAP? Wonder if it's been taken down or moved. So, possibly, erroneous merge between Wilhelm Petrus Oudtshoorn and Petrus Willhelmus van Oudtshoorn/Oudzoon?

There Frederik Stols on Inventory 6 September 1830 is the witness at baptism

Curious, I found a Geertruyd Francina van de Caep, baptised 05/04/1767. "Vrygegewene van Matthiam le Roux": https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DZN4-WLD and when I searched for more information re: her found http://www.e-family.co.za/ffy/RemarkableWriting/CapeMeltingPot-FFY.pdf which shows her being married to Willem Oudtshoorn in 1780. The article seems to connect her to Jan de Hoog, as it gives her alias as Geetruyd Francina de Hoog?
