In noting the birth, I see no source it. I doubt Rebecca was born in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England. I could be wrong.

American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI) shows "1650-1659 Connecticut". Find A Grave Index, which cannot be relied upon because it cites no source, shows "17 April 1654 New London, New London County, Connecticut, United States of America."

Children of John Bemis & Sarah (Coit) include

Mary Bemis, born 18 November 1654, Lastonbury, Hartford, Connecticut and died 27 October 1769. married John Griswold (1652-1717).
Rebecca Bemis, born 1652 and died about 1684, m. Apr. i, 1672, Tobias Minter ; m. 2d, June 17, 1674, to John Dimond; m. 3d, Aug. 2, 1682, to Benedict Satterlee.
